How Does Maximus Human Services Scam Work?

In addition to the scam itself, Maximus Human Services recently experienced a data breach through their Moveit application. The breach exposed sensitive data, including usernames, passwords, and financial information, of more than 744,000 Indiana Medicaid members.

The breach came to light in late May when Maximus Health Services alerted the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) about the incident. Maximus took immediate action by taking the Moveit application offline on May 31.
