Is Beachbody a Scam?
Beachbody can’t be called a scam, as MLM is a legal business model.
Beachbody promotes its products & services via distributors and pays commissions based on personal and downline sales. Beachbody is not a money-circulation scheme such as Ponzi or pyramid, which offers a recruitment-based bonus.
But don’t believe all claims MLM prompters make.
Controversies
In 2017, Beachbody agreed to pay $3.6 Million for the settlement of a case. The Consumer Protection Division of Santa Monica filed a lawsuit alleging Beachbody for charging customer credit customer without any prior consent.
With fine, Beachbody also agreed to change its business practice and modify the website.
Beachbody is devalued for its expensive products. Customers, as well as coaches, complain regarding overpriced products and neverending charges.
Should I Join Beachbody?
Whether to be a customer or join Beachbody as a distributor, please take your decision wisely with personal level research. As it will need your precious time, money as well as good MLM skills to succeed.
Compare products and services with the retail market and analysis reliability of them. Understand your own requirements and don’t take decisions under someone’s extreme influence.
Beachbody can help you to earn money definitely, but it’s going to be very tough for a new coach. The success rate of MLM is just 0.4% and it takes around 2 to 3 years to build an active customer and downline network.
Beachbody 2021 Income Disclosure Statement conveys that, 75% of the coach makes only $491 annually.
There are only 1.3% of Beachbody distributors who make a six-figure income annually. It shows that to become a successful distributor in Beachbody, one has to be part of the top 1% club, proving the fact that MLM has a low success rate.
